on certain measures in the field of advances for compensation for certain war damage and damage caused by exceptional circumstances.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
(1) Advances for compensation for damages under the Act of 18 July 1946, No 161 Coll., on advances for compensation for certain war damage and damage caused by exceptional circumstances may be provided only on the basis of applications submitted within the time limit specified in the Directives of the Ministry of Interior (Section 7 of the Act).
(2) Advances for compensation under the law referred to in the preceding paragraph may be provided in free tender only until the amount of CZK 2.070,000.000 is exhausted, including advances granted from 1 January 1947.
(3) The Minister of Finance is hereby authorised to provide this amount with credit operations.
(4) Of the amount referred to in paragraph 2, advances paid in 1947 shall be paid to the Treasury and released for 1948 for CZK 870,000.000. The amount to be allocated for 1948 will be planned by the Ministry of Interior, taking into account the real needs of the individual countries.
The Decree of the Slovak National Council of 2 December 1947, No 82 Coll. on the organisation of certain financial issues related to the implementation of Regulation No 52 / 1945 Coll. of the Slovak National Council repealing the acquisition of real estate under Czechoslovak land reform, which took place in the territory of the temporarily occupied Hungarian State, is hereby repealed from the beginning of its effectiveness.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; It shall be implemented by the Minister for the Interior in agreement with the Minister for Finance.
