Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic on the issue of commemorative silver twenty-five crowns for the 50th anniversary of the Slovak National Theatre

DECLARATION
Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic
of 26 February 1970
on the issue of a commemorative silver 25 crown for the 50th anniversary of the Slovak National Theatre
The Minister of Finance of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll. and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
For the 50th anniversary of the Slovak National Theatre, silver commemorative 25 crowns are issued.
(1) The silver memory of the twenty-five crowns is driven from an alloy of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of 25 kroner is 10 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down shall be allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the twenty-five crown is 30 mm, its edge is smooth with ornamental influence, composed of alternating rhombus and oval.
(2) On the face of the commemorative silver twenty-five crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, on whose vertical sides and above is the inscription "CZECH SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC." The value designation "25 'is placed in the middle of the bottom.
(3) On the back of the commemorative silver twenty-five crown, a stylised face of the muse, decorated with laurel petals, is displayed on the square background of a sign of a theatre stage. The pages of the stylized stage are accompanied by the inscription "SLOVAK NATIONAL DIVIDLO IN BRATISLAVE," the year "1920" is located in the middle of the top and the year "1970" in the middle of the bottom. The design of the silver commemorative twenty-five crown is the work of academic sculptor Zdeněk Kolářský in cooperation with academic graphic artist and painter Ivan Strnade. The names "ROLLING" and "IVAN STRNAD" are placed on the base of the stage.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
