on transitional arrangements in the field of municipal levies and charges.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
The municipal levies and charges at which the local national committee (local administrative commission or administrative commissioner) was ordered before 1 January 1948 and which, if necessary, have been or will be authorised by the competent authority (s), may be levied for the period prior to the publication of the approved selection rules, with effect from the date laid down in that resolution, and if that date has not been specified in the resolution, from the date of actual selection.
(1) The Government may issue standard (uniform) rules for municipal benefits and charges in accordance with the provisions of § 28, § 5, § 35, § 4, § 37, § 2 and § 38, § 2 of the Law of 12 August 1921, No 329 Coll., on the transitional adjustment of the financial economy of municipalities, with effect for the whole country.
(2) The provisions of the Law of 7 November 1940, No 290 of the Act amending certain provisions on the financial management of cities and municipalities, in so far as they contravene the provisions of paragraph 1, are hereby repealed.
The autonomous levy provided for in the Law of 27 January 1944, No 11 of the SLA, on the autonomous levy on alcohol, the general levy on drinks, beer and sparkling wine, cannot be levied for the period from 1 March 1946; but the benefit which he considers to have been collected before the law is effective does not return.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication; It shall be implemented by the Minister for the Interior in agreement with the Minister for Finance.
