on the total number of electricity customers and the total amount of gas consumed in the Czech Republic in 2024
The Energy Regulatory Authority in accordance with Article 17d (5) of Act No. 458 / 2000 Coll., on the Terms and Conditions of Business and on the Performance of Government Administration in the Energy Sector and on the amendment of certain laws (Energy Act), as amended, publishes for the purpose of determining the amount of the special charge for the activity of the Energy Regulatory Authority according to the data submitted by the system operators to the market operator, the total number of demand points of customers receiving electricity in the Czech Republic and the total amount of gas consumed in the Czech Republic in 2024.
The total number of customers receiving electricity on 31 December 2024 was 6 281 024.
Total gas consumption in the Czech Republic in 2024 was 73 610 385,868 MWh.
