on the award of the state journalistic award of Karel Havlíček Borovski.
The Constitutional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on this law:
The government of the Czechoslovak Republic will each year, on 31 December, on a proposal from the professorship of the Faculty of Journalism of the University of Political Teachers, which will build a prize, and on a proposal from the top Czech and Slovak organization of journalists, which will also build a prize, the state journalistic award of Karl Havlíček Borovský in the amount of 100,000 Kčs. The prize is awarded to journalists of Slavic nationality and Czechoslovak nationality for an excellent service, which he has shown by his journalistic activities, by contributing to the raising of the level of moral, cultural, political, economic and defence of the Czechoslovak Republic in the spirit of popular democracy and the unity of the Czech and Slovak peoples.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication and shall be implemented by the Ministers for Education and Education, Information and Finance.
