DECLARATION
of 1 August 2007
amending Decree No 201 / 2003 Coll., on animal health requirements for fresh poultrymeat, rabbit meat, farmed game meat and wild game meat, as amended
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to Section 78 of Act No. 166 / 1999 Coll., on Veterinary Care and on the amendment of certain related laws (Veterinary Act), as amended by Act No. 131 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 316 / 2004 Coll. and Act No. 48 / 2006 Coll., ("the Act ') for the implementation of Section 18 (6) (a) (2) of the Act:
Decree No 201 / 2003 Coll., on animal health requirements for fresh poultrymeat, rabbit meat, farmed game meat and wild game meat, as amended by Decree No 651 / 2004 Coll. and Decree No 4 / 2007 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 3a, the following paragraph 3 is added:
"(3) Fresh poultry or farmed feathered game meat obtained from the slaughter of poultry or farmed feathered game coming from a territory or part of a territory which is subject to restrictive or prohibiting veterinary measures taken in view of the occurrence of Newcastle disease or avian influenza, as well as minced meat, mechanically separated meat, meat preparations containing such meat and meat products containing such meat and not subjected to the treatment referred to in Annex 5 shall be marked with an alternative mark 3d), the model of which is set out in Annex 6.
(3d) Commission Decision 2007 / 118 / EC of 16 February 2007 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of the alternative identification mark provided for in Council Directive 2002 / 99 / EC. ';
2. the following Annex 6 is inserted after Annex 5:
"Annex 6 to Decree No 201 / 2003 Coll.
MODEL OF ALTERNATIVE MARK
The alternative mark referred to in Article 3a (3) shall be used in accordance with the following dimensions or any appropriate proportion, while preserving the legibility of the information.
Dimensions:
CZ = 8 mm
[country code referred to in point 6 of Part B of Section 1 of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 853 / 2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council]
1234 = 11 mm
[Approval number of establishment referred to in point 7 of Part B of Section I of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 853 / 2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council]
External circular diameter = 30 mm or more
Line thickness square = 3 mm
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 2007.
