DECLARATION
of 10 May 2021
on the issue of commemorative silver five hundred crowns with hologram "Steam Locomotive Skoda 498 Albatros"
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 9 June 2021 a commemorative silver coin with a hologram "Steam Locomotive Skoda 498 Albatros" is issued for 500 CZK (hereinafter referred to as "five hundred crowns").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as "special version").
(3) Five hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 koruna is 25 g, its diameter 40 mm and its strength 2,6 mm. In the case of a five-hundredcrown embossing, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,50 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of the five hundred crown in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five hundred crown in special design is smooth with the feature "ČNB * PARCH LOKOMOTIVA * ALBATROS *."
(1) On the front of the five hundred crown part of the wheel of the locomotive is shown. The text "CZECH" is placed on the top right of the coin. In the upper left part of the coin there is text "REPUBLIC" around the circumference of the round. The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "500 CZK" is located in the bottom of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of composing letters "No" and "M", is placed under the abbreviation of the money unit.
(2) On the reverse side of the five hundred crown is represented steam locomotive Škoda 498 Albatros, on part of the character of its manufacturer. The image of the locomotive with the impression of relief is created by an embossed hologram. At the left edge of the coin is the text "SCHODA," at the bottom edge of the coin is the text "498" and the brand of the author of the coin Asamata Baltaeva, DiS. Text "2021" is placed above the author's mark.
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 9 June 2021.
