DECLARATION

of 4 July 2013

on the publication of the National Natural Monuments of Rendez-vous and the establishment of its closer protection conditions

The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (4) (h) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on the Conservation of Nature and Landscape, as amended by Act No. 218 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 312 / 2008 Coll. and Act No. 349 / 2009 Coll.:

§ 1

Definition of national natural heritage

(1) The National Natural Monument of Rendez-vous ("National Natural Monument") is hereby declared.

(2) The national natural heritage is situated in the territory of the South Moravian Region, in the cadastral territory of Valtice. The boundaries of the national natural monument shall be determined by a closed geometric pattern with direct sides whose vertices are determined by coordinates of the uniform trigonometric network of the cadastral1). The list of coordinates of the vertices of the geometric pattern as they follow in the pattern is given in Annex 1 to this decree.

(3) The protection zone of the national natural heritage is situated in the territory of the South Moravian Region, in the cadastral territory of Valtice. The boundaries of the national natural monument protection zone shall be determined by closed geometric patterns with direct sides whose vertices are determined by coordinates of the uniform trigonometric network of the cadastral1). The lists of coordinates of the vertices of geometric patterns as they follow in the patterns are given in Annex 2 to this decree.

(4) An indicative graphic representation of the territory of the national natural monument and its protection zone is given in Annex 3 to this Decree.

§ 2

Subject matter of protection

National natural monuments are protected

(a) forest crops consisting of communities of Pannonian warm-water dunes on sand and Pannonian duobystrons and with a large population of ceru oak (Quercus cerris),

(b) short-sized meadows consisting of communities of acid dry lawns and both acidophilic and basiphile vegetation of epheméres and succulents,

(c) a shallow pond with communities of macrophyte vegetation of shallow standing waters;

(d) rare and endangered plant species, in particular Piemonte (Cruciata pedemontana) populations, including their biotopes;

(e) rare and endangered species of fungi, in particular the populations of the species Andersons (Inonotus andersonii) and of the South Plstnatec (Spongipellis litschauri), including their biotopes;

(f) rare and endangered species of animals, in particular the populations of the species spiny-nosed (Rana arvalis), albacore (Liometopum microcephalum), brown smelt (Osmoderma eremita s.l.), cauldron (Cerambyx cerdo) and redfish (Lucanus cervus), including their biotopes.

§ 3

Closer protection conditions

Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national natural monument

(a) permit and carry out changes to the types of land or to their exploitation (2);

(b) permit and carry out changes to finished buildings or changes to buildings before they are completed or to place construction, advertising and information facilities;

(c) to adjust the surface of the road using non-local natural material of the same geological origin;

(d) to store goods, except for the short-term storage of timber on forest land;

(e) indicate cycling or walking routes;

(f) organise and organise public sports, tourism and other mass events outside buildings;

(g) planting or planting plants or releasing animals;

(h) fertilise land or use chemical agents;

(i) to establish new feeding facilities or slanisks;

(j) to place logging in forest areas; or

k) start fires.

§ 4

Efficacy

This Decree shall take effect on 1 August 2013.
