Government Regulation
of 2 December 1947
renewing the working judiciary in the Czech and Moravian-Silesian countries and changing its organisation.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic hereby orders, pursuant to Article XIV (2), (2), (2) of the Act of 12 June 1947, No 105 Coll., amending and supplementing certain provisions on judicial organisation and jurisdiction and procedures in civil matters, and pursuant to Article 4 (2) and (3) of the Law of 4 July 1931, No 131 Coll., on judicial proceedings in the ratio of professional, professional and academic (labour courts), as amended by Act No 105 / 1947 Coll.:
Article XII (2), No 7 of Act No. 105 / 1947 Coll., where it abolishes the applicability of Article 4 of the Order of the Minister of Justice of 2 September 1944, No 194 Coll., on the simplification of judicial organisation, shall take effect on 1 January 1948.
They shall be deleted:
1. labour courts:
(a) in the district of the Regional Court in Prague:
in Aš, České Budějovice, Decin, Jablonci nad Nisou, Karlovy Vary, Kladno, Cologne, Liberec, Mladá Byslav, Teplich-Shanova, Trutnov and Ústí nad Labem;
(b) in the district of the Regional Court in Brno:
in Jihlava, Krnova, Nový Jicin, Opava, Šternberk and in Šumperk;
2. the special division for labour disputes in the following district courts:
(a) in the district of the Regional Court in Prague:
in Benesov, Bílina, Číslav, České Kamenice, Český Krumlov, České Lípa, Domažlice, Duchcova, Falkno, Frýdlanta, Hánšach, Havlíčková Broda, Hlinsk, Humpolci, Chabarovice, Chebu, Chomutov, Chrudimi, Jaroměří, Jicina, Kadani, Kralupy nad Vllvtava, Kraslice, Litoměřice, Litomyšl, Lomnice nad Popelka, Louns, Mělálíník, Nové Mělové Mětí nad, Nové Pace, Pace, Pálehřemová, Pribrami, Roudnice nad Lab, Rumburk, Šluknová, Tanda, Ústí nad Orlice, Varnsdorf, Výcí vých a, Žátět'a a, Žát'a, Žát'a;
(b) in the district of the Regional Court in Brno:
in Breclav, Lipnik above Bečva, Place and Svitavy.
The Special Dispute Division shall be established in the following district courts:
(a) in the district of the Regional Court in Prague:
in České Budějovice, Děčín, Jablonci nad Nisou, Kladno, Cologne, Liberec, Teplich-Shanova, Trutnov and Ústí nad Labem;
(b) in the district of the Regional Court in Brno:
in Jeseník, Jihlava, Krnov, Moravian Třebov, Nový Jicin, Opava, Šternberk, Šumperk and Vsetín.
The organisation of labour courts and special departments of district labour courts is seen in the annex to this government regulation.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1948; they shall be carried out by the Minister of Justice in agreement with the Ministers involved.

Organisation of labour courts and special departments of district labour courts.
Work courts shall be established:
(a) in the district of the Regional Court in Prague:
in Prague, Hradec Kralove, Náchodě, Pardubice and Pilsen;
(b) in the district of the Regional Court in Brno:
in Brno, Olomouc, Ostrava and Prostějov;
(c) in the district of the main court in Bratislava:
in Bratislava and in Zilina;
(d) in the district of the main court in Košice:
in Košice.
The special departments of the District Courts for Disputes of Labour are set up:
(a) in the district of the Regional Court in Prague:
in Beroun, Brandýs nad Labem, Český Broda, České Budějovice, Decin, Dvoří Králové nad Labem, Hořovice, Jablonci nad Nisou, Kladno, Klatovy, Kutná Hora, Liberec, Bridge, Sand, Rokycany, Semilí, Salty, Strakonice, Tábor, Teplich- Shanova, Trutnov, Úpice and Ústí nad Labem;
(b) in the district of the Regional Court in Brno:
in Blansko, Bohumína, Boskovice, Český Těšín, Frýdek, Fryštáta, Šláčín, Hodonín, Jeseních, Jihlava, Krnov, Kroměříž, Kyjov, Moravian Třebov, Nový Jicin, Opava, Přerov, Šternberk, Šumperk, Třebich, Valášské Meříčí, Vsetín, Vyškov, Zlín and Znojmo;
(c) in the district of the main court in Bratislava:
in Báňská Bystřice, Galanta, Komárna, Luchenci, Nitra, New Castle, Topolčany, Trenčín, Trnava and in Elected;
(d) in the district of the main court in Košice:
in Liptovský St. Nicholas, Michalovce, Prešov, Ružomberk and in Turkish St. Martin.
