GOVERNMENT REGULATION

on the designation of a national contact point for the exchange of information on the compliance of alarm and signalling weapons with specified technical specifications
The Government mandates the implementation of Act No. 156 / 2000 Coll., on the Verification of Firearms and ammunition, as amended by Act No. 119 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 227 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 444 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 36 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 281 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 148 / 2010 Coll., Act No. 155 / 2010 Coll., Act No. 18 / 2012 Coll., Act No. 170 / 2013 Coll., Act No. 217 / 2013 Coll., Act No. 13 / 2021 Coll.
Subject matter
This Regulation implements the relevant provisions of the European Union1) and identifies a national contact point for the exchange of information on the compliance of alarm and signalling weapons under the Weapons Act with the technical specifications for the permissible production of an expansion weapon provided for by other legislationsm2).
National Contact Point
(1) The National Contact Point for the Exchange of Information on the Compliance of Alarm and Signalling Weapons with Technical Specifications for the Allowance Production of Expansion Weapons is the Czech Office for the Testing of Weapons and Ammings (hereinafter referred to as the Office).
(2) The Office shall provide the national contact point of a Member State of the European Union upon request with information relating to the compliance of alarm and signalling weapons with the technical specifications for the permissible production of an expansion weapon and resulting from its verifications or checks.
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication.
