DECLARATION
of 29 June 2007
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 100th anniversary of Jarmila Novotné's birth
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On the 100th anniversary of the birth of the opera singer Jarmila Novotné, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued. The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred koruna in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the two-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and its strength 2,2 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%.
(1) On the face of the two-hundred crowns, the title of the musical works in which Jarmila Novotná performed are inscribed in decorative letters. At the entire edge of the two-hundred crown, the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in an unclosed copy. Denomination of the nominal value with the abbreviation "200 CZK" at the right edge is two hundred koruna after the second word of the state name. The mark of the mint which struck the two hundred crown is placed at the lower left edge of the two hundred crown, between the first and second words of the name of the state.
(2) There's a portrait of Jarmila Novotné on the back of the $200 crown. At the left and bottom edges of the two hundred crown, the unclosed copy "JARMILA NOVOTná" is a copy, which partly interferes with the portrait with the last two letters. At the right edge of the double sekron are data "1907 - 2007," which partially interfere with the portrait. The author of the design of the two-hundred crown is Vojtěch Dostál, DiS, whose initial, inverted letter "D," is placed at the right edge of the two-sekron next to the decorative hair buckle.
This Decree takes effect on 5 September 2007.
