Government Regulation
of 12 December 1950
on the taking up and changing of business or other self-employed activities.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic, with the agreement of the President of the Republic pursuant to § 42 paragraph 1 of Act No. 241 / 1948 Coll., on the first five-year Economic Plan for the Development of the Czechoslovak Republic (Act on the Five-Year Plan):
(1) The competent national committee shall take note of the notification (reply) of the entry into business or other self-employment activity, grant authorisation (concession, licence) or allow its exercise to be transferred to another municipality, only if it considers that there is no objection for economic reasons or for reasons of general interest. The same applies if the establishment of a secondary establishment, a store, a benchmark or a collection centre, the conversion of a branch plant or a warehouse into a main establishment, the transfer of an undertaking within the municipality, the smuggling of trade, the extension of establishments or the approval of new establishments.
(2) The national committee may make its decision under paragraph 1 subject to conditions.
Until it has been legally decided pursuant to Paragraph 1, the operation must not commence.
The national committees shall, when implementing this Regulation, take care of the objectives and tasks laid down by the Five-Year Plan Act and the provisions adopted pursuant to it.
This Regulation shall apply in the Czech regions and shall take effect on 1 January 1951; All members of the government will do it.
