Decree of the Minister for Foreign Affairs
of 1 November 1946
concerning the accession of the Czechoslovak Republic to the 1939 World Postal Union Convention and Arrangement (Buenos Aires).
With the approval of the President of the Republic, the Czechoslovak Republic acceded with effect from 10 August 1945 to the following acts of the World Postal Union, negotiated at the XI World Postal Congress in Buenos Aires on 23 May 1939:
1. The World Postal Convention with the Final Protocol, the Implementing Regulations, the provisions on air transport by letter and the Final Protocol thereto;
2. Arrangements for valuable letters and valuable boxes with the Final Protocol and Implementing Regulations;
3. Arrangement on postal packages with the Final Protocol, the Implementing Rules, the provisions on air transport of postal parcels and the Final Protocol to these Provisions;
4. Agreement on postal vouchers with the implementing rules with a supplement on the service of postal travel gods;
5. Arrangements on postal transfers with implementing rules;
6. Arrangements for postal orders with implementing rules;
7. Arrangements for subscriptions to newspapers and magazines by post with implementing rules.
The French version of the World Postal Convention and the six above-mentioned arrangements and their Czech translation will be published under the title "Convention and Arrangement of the World Postal Union (Buenos Aires 1939)" as a separate part of the Bulletin of the Ministry of Posts in Prague.
The Convention and the Arrangement shall be bound by the States listed in the Annex to the abovementioned publication of the Bulletin of the Ministry of Posts.
