GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 25 August 1999
laying down rules on the grant of grants to strengthen milk consumption for pupils of the first and second classes of primary schools and amending Decree No. 4 / 1999 Coll., on the use of part of the income of the Land Fund of the Czech Republic to promote the export of slaughter pigs
The Government orders pursuant to § 15 paragraph 6 of Act No. 569 / 1991 Coll., on the Land Fund of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 269 / 1998 Coll.:
The Land Fund of the Czech Republic transfers CZK 10.7 million to the budget chapter of the Ministry of Agriculture.
(1) The Ministry of Agriculture shall use the amount transferred under Section 1 and other State budget resources to support milk consumption for pupils in the first and second classes of primary schools in the form of grants until the end of 1999. The grant is provided in the amount of CZK 3 per pack of 250 ml of whole milk not flavoured or seasoned1) for one pupil at most twice a week.
(2) The milk supplier referred to in paragraph 1 shall be entitled to a grant provided that he ensures that the milk is delivered to the schools in a quantity corresponding to the number of pupils in the first and second classes of primary schools with a maximum frequency of twice a week per pupil for a maximum price of CZK 2.50 per piece of this package. The supplier shall demonstrate and confirm that the milk has only been delivered to customers who are primary schools or persons authorised by them, who undertake in writing to the supplier that the sale of milk to pupils is carried out under the conditions laid down in this Regulation and at a price of not more than CZK 2.50 per piece of this package.
(3) The milk supplier referred to in paragraph 2 shall be a dairy establishment which shall apply the grant entitlement by written application to the Ministry of Agriculture before 30 November 1999, supported by evidence of compliance with the conditions laid down in this Regulation.
Government Decree No. 4 / 1999 Coll., on the use of part of the income of the Land Fund of the Czech Republic to promote the export of slaughter pigs, is amended as follows:
In Paragraph 1 (1), "CZK 67 million 'is replaced by" CZK 56.3 million'.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
