DECLARATION
Ministry of Environment
of 16 August 1999
declaring the national nature reserve of the Jizera mountain beech and its protection zone and laying down its close protection conditions
The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (3) (b) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Conservation:
Announcement of the Jizera Mountain Beech National Nature Reserve
(1) The Jizera mountain beech national nature reserve ("the national nature reserve") is declared in the Jizera mountains.
(2) The object of protection is, on a national scale, unique and important ecosystems - a complex of mixed, predominantly beech forests with geomorphologically significant formations and preserved natural and nature close to the plant and animal communities linked to this specific environment and fulfilling the function of preserving and reproducing the genetic potential of indigenous forests.
Definition of the national nature reserve
(1) The national nature reserve is situated in the district of Liberec in the cadastral territory of the White Potok pod Srkem on the land parcel No 1760 / 1 (part), in the cadastral territory of Frýdlant in the Czech Republic on the land parcel No 3760 / 1 (part), 3760 / 2 (part) (part), in the cadastral territory of Hednice on the land parcel No 1224 / 2 (part), 1224 / 6 (part), 1225 (part), 1226 (part), 1227, 1228, 1247 / 1 (part), 1335 (part), 1337 (part) in the land parcel No 1366 / 1 (part), 1368 (part), 1370, 1371 / 1 (part), in the cadastral territory of Libverda on the land park No 910 / 9 (part), part), in the land park No 1337 (part), in the land park No 1337 (part), part), in the cadastral territory No 1366 / 14 (part), part), part), part of the land park The total area of the national nature reserve is 950,9252 ha.
(2) The map materials in which the territory of the national nature reserve and its protection zone is drawn are, in addition to the records in the central list of nature conservation (1), deposited with the Ministry of the Environment (hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry"), at the Jizera Mountain Protection Centre, at the Regional Office of Liberec, at the Municipal Office of White Potok, at the City Office of Frýdlant in Bohemia, at the City Office of Hejnice, at the Municipal Office of the Spa Libverda, at the Municipal Office of Oldřichochov Háhy and at the Municipal Office of Raspenava. The graphical representation of the territory of the national nature reserve is contained in the annex to the decree.
Closer protection conditions for the national nature reserve
In addition to basic protective conditions (2), closer protection conditions are laid down. The consent of the competent authority of nature (3) is required to:
(a) the use for afforestation of seedlings of non-Jizera mountain origin;
(b) the repair and maintenance of the existing forest network;
(c) carrying out geological work related to the intervention into the territory;
(d) carrying out extractive, educational or cultivation work in forests where the forest owner operates without an approved forest economic plan or a forest economic curriculum taken over;
(e) organisation and organisation of public events (in particular sports and tourism events).

(2) The consent of the Competent Body of Nature (5), except in the cases referred to in the Act (6), is also necessary for the following activities:
(a) the use for afforestation of seedlings of non-Jizera mountain origin;
(b) the implementation of mass sports events and competitions;
c) rock climbing, flying on sports flying equipment, 7)
(d) riding on bicycles and horses off-road and local communications.
Repeal
They shall be deleted:
(a) Lot No 12, 28, 32, 41, 43, 44 and 45 in § 1 of Decree of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Socialist Republic, No. 17.094 / 87-VI / 2 of 21 December 1987, on the declaration of protection of certain state natural reserves and protected sites, reg. 26 / 1987 Coll.,
(b) Annexes No XII, XXVIII, XXXII, XLI, XLIII, XLIV and XLV to the Decree of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Socialist Republic, No 17.094 / 87-VI / 2 of 21 December 1987 on the declaration of protection of certain state natural reserves and protected sites, reg. 26 / 1987 Coll.,
(c) the entries "Frýdlantní cimmburí," "Paličník," "Mílnečník," "Střečák," "Špičák," "Štolpichy" and "Tíšina" in Annex No. V to Decree of the Ministry of the Environment No. 395 / 1992 Coll., implementing certain provisions of the Czech National Council Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on the conservation of nature and landscape.
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
