amending and supplementing Act No. 53 / 1954 Coll., on People's Cooperatives and Cooperative Organisations.
The Bureau of the National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic has decided on the following legal measure under Article 66 of the Constitution:
Act No. 53 / 1954 Coll., on People's Cooperatives and Cooperative Organisations, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 46 (4) reads as follows:
"(4) The members of the Committee and the review committee and their alternates shall elect and withdraw the meeting. The members of the Board shall be elected and removed by the Committee. Otherwise, the composition and method of choice of the institutions and their members shall be governed by the Statutes. ';
2. The following sentence is added to Paragraph 51 (2):
"The provisions on the merger of cooperatives shall apply mutatis mutandis. '
3. The following shall be added to Paragraph 54 as paragraph 3:
"(3) The Central Board of Cooperatives may set up undertakings to carry out its economic tasks; Article 51 shall apply mutatis mutandis to them. '
4. Paragraph 57 (1) and (2) reads as follows:
"(1) The property of cooperative associations and the Central Council of Cooperatives, as well as the property of their undertakings, enjoys the same protection and benefits as that of folk cooperatives.
(2) Execution against cooperatives, cooperative associations, the Central Council of Cooperatives and their undertakings may only be conducted in the manner and to the extent set out in Section 437 (1) of the Civil Code. The supervisory authorities are the Central Association of Cooperatives and the Central Council of Cooperatives. "
This legal measure shall take effect on 1 June 1956; All members of the government will do it.
