on education and provision salaries for children of public servants studying at universities.
The Provisional National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
(1) For the children of the staff referred to in Article 2 who are studying in universities and whose university studies will be delayed beyond the end of the 24th year of age as a result of the closure of Czech universities or for national, political or racial persecution, or as a result of participation in domestic or foreign resistance, the age limit of 24 years laid down for entitlement to education is extended for a period corresponding to the period of such delay.
(2) The provisions of paragraph 1 shall apply mutatis mutandis to entitlement to the education allowance or orphan's pension (Article I, § 8, paragraph 1, and § 9, paragraph 1, of Act No. 2 / 1920 Coll., amending certain provisions governing pension entitlements and retirement, as well as certain advantages for civil servants and similar provisions), subject to the condition of study with due benefit (Article I, § 8, par. 1, No. 2, Act No. 2 / 1920 Coll.) also apply to eligible children of the female sex (Article I, § 8, par. 1, No 1, of the same Act).
(1) The provisions of this Act apply to civil servants whose service and pay conditions are governed by the Law No. 103 / 1926 Coll. or by the Act No. 104 / 1926 Coll. or by regulations issued pursuant to them, and to their survivors.
(2) The provisions of this Law shall apply mutatis mutandis to the employees of the units of the local authorities whose pay ratios are adjusted in accordance with the same conditions as those laid down in paragraph 1 and to their survivors.
This Act shall take effect on 1 June 1945; it shall be carried out by all members of the Government.
