DECLARATION
of 5 September 2018
on the issue of the gold coin "Castle Rabi" for 5,000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 166 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 18 September 2018, a gold coin "Castle Rabi" is issued for CZK 5,000 ("coins") as part of the "Castles" cycle.
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15,55 g, 28 mm diameter and 2 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance up to 0,062 g is allowed and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) An aerial view of the castle area is displayed on the front of the coin. In the right part of the coin field, stylized heraldic animals from a large state emblem, namely Czech lion, Moravian eagle and Silesian eagle are incorporated on the shooting bastions. In the left part of the coin field there is the text "CZECH REPUBLIC," the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "5 000 CZK" and the name of the cycle "PLAYS." The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is placed under the text "PLAYS."
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is a detailed view of the remains of castle buildings. In the lower left part of the coin field is the text "HRAD RABÍ" and the year of the stamping "2018." The author's brand Asamata Baltaeva, DiS., is located under the year of the stamping.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 18 September 2018.
