Government Regulation
of 19 December 1950
on the abolition of the State Debt Directorate, the Central Treasury in Prague and the Treasury for Slovakia in Bratislava.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 1 paragraph 1 of Act No. 143 / 1949 Coll., on Changes in the Organisation of Public Administration and in the jurisdiction of its bodies:
(1) The Public Debt Directorate in Prague, established by Act No. 686 / 1920 Coll., is hereby repealed.
(2) Its jurisdiction is transferred to the Czechoslovak State Bank, with the exception of continuous accounting in the field of sovereign debt transferred to the Ministry of Finance.
(1) The Central Treasury in Prague, established by the Order of the Ministry of Finance No. 65 / 1919 Coll., and the Treasury for Slovakia in Bratislava, established by a measure issued pursuant to § 14 of Act No. 64 / 1918 Coll., is deleted.
(2) Their jurisdiction is transferred to the Ministry of Finance, except for the safekeeping and associated management of the entrusted values, which is transferred to the Czechoslovak State Bank.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1951; to be carried out by the Minister for Finance.
