DECLARATION
Czech National Banks
of 6 August 1997
on the issue of banknotes of CZK 50 model 1997
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) Banknotes of 50 CZK of the model 1997 are issued for circulation on 10 September 1997.
(2) Banknotes for 50 CZK of model 1997 are different from banknotes for 50 CZK of model 19931) and from banknotes for 50 CZK of model 19942) with used banknote paper, by making a protective serial number and the issue of the banknote year.
(1) Banknote paper used for printing banknotes of CZK 50 model 1997 is equipped with visible orange protective fibres of 6 mm length.
(2) The protective serial number for banknotes of CZK 50 model 1997 takes the form of letters "CR" placed in a white circular area in the view against light. The part of the protective assembly mark visible on the front is printed in grey and is placed in the top right of the banknote pattern. The part of the protective assembly mark visible on the reverse is printed in carmine colour and placed in the upper left part of the banknote pattern.
(3) The issue of the banknote on the front is printed on the surface and marked "1997."
This Decree shall take effect on 1 September 1997.
