amending Decree No. 143 / 1965 Coll., on the provision of cash benefits in sickness insurance, and Decree No. 165 / 1979 Coll., on the sickness insurance of certain workers and on the provision of sickness insurance benefits to citizens in special cases
The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs provides, pursuant to Section 51a of Act No. 54 / 1956 Coll., on sickness insurance of employees, as amended by the Act of the Czech National Council No. 37 / 1993 Coll., and under Section 35 of Act No. 88 / 1968 Coll., on extended maternity leave, on maternity benefits and on allowances for children from sickness insurance, as amended by Act No. 37 / 1993 Coll. and Act No. 308 / 1993 Coll.:
Decree No. 143 / 1965 Coll., on the provision of cash benefits in sickness insurance, as amended by Decree No. 95 / 1968 Coll., Decree No. 113 / 1975 Coll., Decree No. 165 / 1979 Coll., Decree No. 79 / 1982 Coll., Decree No. 154 / 1983 Coll., Decree No. 80 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 134 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 239 / 1988 Coll., Decree No. 263 / 1990 Coll., Czech National Council Act No. 582 / 1991 Coll., Decree No. 30 / 1993 Coll., Decree No. 313 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:
In Section 45, the words "50 CZK 'are replaced by the words" the amount of the parental allowance due on a single calendar day'.
Decree No. 165 / 1979 Coll., on the sickness insurance of certain workers and on the provision of sickness insurance benefits to citizens in special cases, as amended by Decree No. 155 / 1983 Coll., Decree No. 79 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 135 / 1984 Coll., Decree No. 59 / 1987 Coll., Decree No. 148 / 1988 Coll., Decree No. 123 / 1990 Coll., Decree No. 263 / 1990 Coll., Decree No. 501 / 1990 Coll., Act No. 306 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 312 / 1993 Coll., and Decree No. 312 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:
In § 51 (3) and § 98 (3), the words "50 CZK 'are replaced by the words" the amount of the parental allowance due on a single calendar day'.
(1) A candidate for employment, a university student, a secondary school pupil or a citizen with a altered capacity who has been entitled to maternity benefit before the date of application of this decree and has not been paid before that date the difference between the amount of the parental allowance and the amount of the maternity allowance, (1) if the entitlement to maternity benefit continues after 30 September 1994, shall be granted at the rate laid down in that decree as from 1 October 1994. Where a woman referred to in the previous sentence has already been paid before the date of application of this decree, the difference between the amount of the parental allowance and the amount of the monetary aid in the mothers1) shall be granted to her from the date of application of this decree at the rate laid down by that decree.
(2) The provisions of paragraph 1 also apply to the provision of financial assistance to men.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
