CONSTRUCTION LAW
of 28 May 2009
on shortening the fifth parliamentary term of the Chamber of Deputies
Parliament has decided on the following constitutional law of the Czech Republic:
The election period of the Chamber of Deputies elected in 2006 will end in 2009 on the day of the elections to the Chamber of Deputies, which will take place by 15 October 2009.
(1) In Act No. 247 / 1995 Coll., on the elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic and amending and supplementing certain other laws, as amended by Act No. 212 / 1996 Coll., the Constitutional Court found under Act No. 243 / 1999 Coll., Act No. 204 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 230 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 62 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 418 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 323 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 480 / 2006 Coll., and Act No. 261 / 2008 Coll. The period laid down in Paragraph 33 (7) shall be reduced by 7 days. Paragraphs 31 (4) and 33 (6) shall be reduced by 15 days. Article 33 (1) second sentence and Article 33 (2) and (3) shall be reduced by 20 days. In Article 16 (4), in the present case, "16 'is replaced by" 13'.
(2) In Act No. 150 / 2002 Coll., the Administrative Rules, as amended by Act No. 192 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 22 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 237 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 436 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 555 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 127 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 350 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 165 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 189 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 267 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 216 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 301 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 314 / 2008 Coll.
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
