THE LAW
of 10 June 2003
amending Act No. 56 / 2001 Coll., on the Conditions for the Operation of Vehicles on the Road and amending Act No. 168 / 1999 Coll., on the Insurance of Liability for Vehicle Operation and on the Change of Certain Related Acts (Vehicle Liability Insurance Act), as amended by Act No. 307 / 1999 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 56 / 2001 Coll., on the Conditions for the Operation of Vehicles on the Road and amending Act No. 168 / 1999 Coll., on Insurance of Liability for Vehicle Operation and on the Change of Certain Related Laws (Act on Vehicle Liability Insurance), as amended by Act No. 307 / 1999 Coll., as amended by Act No. 478 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 175 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Article 3 (3) (e):
"(e) motor-powered invalid carriages, if their width or length exceeds one metre, their design speed exceeds 6 km.h-1 or their maximum permissible mass exceeds 450 kg."
2. In Article 6, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) The compulsory registration referred to in paragraph 1 shall not be subject to a trailer (a vehicle belonging to category S in accordance with the Annex to this Act) which is intended and technically intended for agricultural work; However, this vehicle may be registered at the request of the owner. The provisions of Sections 38 (1) (b) to (f) and 39 shall not apply to vehicles not subject to registration. '
Paragraphs 2 to 4 shall become paragraphs 3 to 5.
3. In Article 89 (10), the following sentence is added: "Where such a vehicle is a two-wheel moped or a motorcycle (vehicles belonging to category L as defined in the Annex to this Act) or a self-propelled work machine (a vehicle belonging to category S as defined in the Annex to this Act), it shall be registered only at the request of the owner. The provisions of Sections 38 (1) (b), (c), (e) and (f) and (f) and of Section 39 and of category LM motorcycle and self-propelled machinery not subject to registration shall not apply. ';
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on 1 September 2003.
