about the state theatre in Brno.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
The state theatre in Brno is established by taking over the Regional Theatre in Brno.
(1) The property right to real estate and movable property belonging to the Land of Moravskoslezská, the city of Brno or the Cooperative of the Czech National Theatre in Brno and intended by the existing owner to be used permanently and exclusively for the operation of the overtaken theatre, passes without compensation to the Czechoslovak State.
(2) For the purpose of the construction of a new theatre building, the Czechoslovak State also acquires, without compensation, ownership rights to the real and movable property of the Cooperative of the Czech National Theatre in Brno, to which the provisions of paragraph 1 do not apply, but which the cooperative has designated for that purpose (i.e. the building fund). The right of ownership of the cooperative to its other assets remains unaffected.
The Ministry of Education and Education shall determine, in an agreement with the Ministry of Interior and Finance, which transferred the property pursuant to § 2, § 1 or 2 to the State.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Education (§ 3) and on its proposal, the library court will make a contribution of ownership to the property referred to in § 2, paragraphs 1 and 2 for the Czechoslovak State.
The State takes over the employees of the Regional Theatre in Brno as an operator of the State Theatre; otherwise their service (work) and salary ratios remain unaffected.
In the other legal conditions of the Land of Moravian-Silesian, relating to the operation of the Regional Theatre in Brno, the State enters its place.
Details of the organisation, administration and operation of the state theatre in Brno and its management are provided by the Ministry of Education and Education in agreement with the Ministry of Interior, Finance, Information, Technology, Social Welfare and the Supreme Accounting Audit Office.
This Act shall take effect on 16 August 1948; It shall be implemented by the Ministers of Education and Education and Justice in agreement with the participating members of the Government.
