amending Act No. 170 / 2002 Coll., on War Veterans, and Act No. 148 / 1998 Coll., on the Protection of classified information and amending certain laws, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to the War Veterans Act
Act No. 170 / 2002 Coll., on War Veterans, is amended as follows:
1. In Section 2, the title is "Army and Police."
2. In Article 2, the current text becomes paragraph 1 and the following paragraph 2 is added:
"(2) For the purposes of this Act, the Police of the Czech Republic."
3. In Article 3 (1), the words "or the police" shall be inserted after the word "army."
4. In Paragraph 3 (2), the words "or the police" shall be inserted after the word "army."
5. In Article 5, the following paragraph 3 is inserted after paragraph 2:
"(3) The Ministry of the Interior shall provide the Ministry with information on compliance with the conditions for certification of a war veteran to police officers under Section 3."
Paragraph 3 shall become paragraph 4.
6. In Annex 1 to Act No. 170 / 2002 Coll., point 1 is replaced by the following: "as amended by Act No. 190 / 2005 Coll. '.
7. in Annex 1 to Act No 170 / 2002 Coll. the following point (f) is inserted after point 2 (e):
"(f) as a member of the police,"
Point (f) shall be renumbered as point (g).
8. In Annex 2 to Act No. 170 / 2002 Coll., the words "as amended by Act No. 190 / 2005 Coll. 'are inserted after the words" No 170 / 2002 Coll.'.
Amendment to the Act on the Protection of classified information
Act No. 148 / 1998 Coll., on the protection of classified information and amending certain laws, as amended by Act No. 164 / 1999 Coll., Act No. 18 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 29 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 30 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 363 / 2000 Coll., Act No. 60 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 322 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 151 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 310 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 436 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 257 / 2004 Coll., and Act No. 386 / 2004 Coll., is amended as follows:
Paragraph 89 (2) reads:
"(2) This Law shall expire on 31 December 2005."
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
