GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 3 January 2001
laying down provisional safeguard measures for imports into the Czech Republic of certain products
The Government mandates pursuant to Paragraph 19 (1) of Act No. 62 / 2000 Coll., on certain measures in the export or import of products and on licensing and amending certain laws:
(1) For goods covered by a customs tariff (1) under subheadings 1702 3010 - Isoglucose, 1702 4010 - Isoglucose, 1702 6010 - Isoglucose and 1702 9030 - Isoglucose, the rate of the import duty fixed by the customs tariff (1) or by the international Treaty (2) is increased by 70.
(2) For goods covered by the Customs Tariff (1) under subheadings 1702 3059 - Other and 1702 3099 - Other, the rate of customs duty fixed by the Customs Tariff (1) or by the international contract (2) is increased by 60.
(3) For goods covered by the Customs Tariff (1) under subheading 1702 9099 - Other, the rate of the import duty fixed by the Customs Tariff (1) or by the international contract (2) is increased by 90.
(4) For goods covered by the Customs Tariff (1) under subheadings 2106 9030 - isoglucose and 2106 9059 - Other, the rate of the import duty fixed by the Customs Tariff (1) or the international contract (2) is hereby increased by 100.
(1) Paragraph 1 (1) shall not apply to imports of goods originating in the Slovak Republic which are subject to specific legislation. 3)
(2) The goods referred to in paragraph 1 shall be those which meet the conditions laid down in the international contract (4).
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 28 July 2001.

3) Decree of the Government No. 185 / 2000 Coll., laying down products which can be imported into or exported from the Czech Republic only on the basis of a licence pursuant to Act No. 62 / 2000 Coll., on certain measures for the export or import of products and on the licensing procedure and amending certain laws, as amended by Decree No. 446 / 2000 Coll. and Decree No. 495 / 2000 Coll.
4) Communication from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs No. 28 / 1997 Coll., on the negotiation of the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic amending the provisions of Article 1 of the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic on Rules of Origin of Goods and Methods of Administrative Cooperation of 22 February 1993, as amended.
