GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 10 January 1996
on the increase in pensions in 1996
The Government orders the implementation of Act No. 155 / 1995 Coll., on Pension Insurance ("the Act '):
Old-age pensions, full invalidity, partial invalidity, widower's, widower's and orphan's pensions awarded before 1 April 1996 shall be increased from the payment of the pension due after 31 March 1996 to:
a) the basic amount of the pension is increased by 240 CZK per month,
(b) the percentage rate of the pension shall be increased by 8% on the date on which the percentage rate is increased.
(1) The basic rates for pensions awarded after 31 March 1996, as referred to in § 33 (1), § 41 (1), § 45 (1), § 51 (1) and § 53 (1) of the Act, are CZK 920 per month.
(2) The percentage rates of pensions granted from 1 April 1996 to 31 December 1996 are increased by 8% from the date of the grant of the pension on the date of the pension, prior to its adjustment under § 46 or § 59 of the Act.
(1) The percentage rates of widower's, widower's and orphan's pensions are only increased if they have not been calculated from the percentage rates of pensions raised under this Regulation.
(2) If the pension due on the repayment date of the pension in the month in which the date from which the pensions are increased is adjusted to coincide with another pension or income from a gainful activity, the increase in the percentage rate of the pension referred to in Article 1 (1) shall be adjusted when the amount of the pension paid relating to the reasons for the adjustment of the pension is changed. (b) or Article 2 (2), depending on the amount of the percentage amount of the pension due from the date of the change.
The basic rates of pensions awarded after 31 March 1996, if the amount is fixed using the provisions in force before 1 January 1996, shall be CZK 920 per month; This amount includes an increase in the pension by a fixed amount. 1)
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 April 1996.
