DECLARATION
of 21 August 2014
on the issue of a commemorative silver two hundred crown for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Thomas Bati Jr.
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 3 September 2014, the 100th anniversary of the birth of Thomas Bati Jr. is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) The two-hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front of the two hundred crown is a female boat, above which is the logo of the company "Bata." Under the depiction of the female boat is the depiction of a part of the globe. The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is above the depiction of a part of the globe. At the left and upper edge of the two-hundred crown, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC." The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is to the left of the depiction of part of the globe.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred crown is a portrait of Thomas Bati Jr. At the left edge of the two hundred crown, the text "TOMÉ BAHA YOUNG." To the right of the portrait are the years "1914" and "2014." On the right of the collar on the portrait is the author's initials, Vojtěch Dostála, DiS., which is composed of the inverted letter "D."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 3 September 2014.
