THE LAW
of 14 December 1988
amending and supplementing the Labour Code
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this law:
Civil Code No. 40 / 1964 Coll., as amended (complete version No. 70 / 1983 Coll.), is amended as follows:
1. § 447a reads:
The compensation for the loss of a pension shall be equal to the difference between the amount of the pension to which the injured person was entitled and the amount of the pension to which he would have been entitled if the average monthly earnings from which the pension was calculated would have included compensation for the loss of earnings after the disability that the citizen received during the period applicable for the assessment of the pension. '
2. After Paragraph 507b, the following Section 507c is inserted:
Transitional provision to adjust the compensation for pension losses effective from 1 January 1989
The right to compensation for pension losses incurred before 1 January 1989 shall be assessed in accordance with the existing rules. '
The Bureau of the Federal Assembly is hereby empowered to declare in the Collection of Laws the full text of the Labour Code, as is apparent from the later laws.
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1989.
