DECLARATION
of 20 April 2021
on the issue of the gold coin "City Heritage Reservation Cheb" for 5 000 CZK
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 25 May 2021, a gold coin "City Monument Reserve Cheb" is issued for CZK 5,000 ("Coins") as part of the "City Monument Reserve" cycle.
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 15,55 g, 28 mm diameter and 1.9 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed, the tolerance in gold purity is up to 0,01%, the difference in weight up to 0,062 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
(1) On the front side of the coin is depicted a unique complex of Cheb wooden roofs, which includes heraldic animals from a large national character, in the middle of the Czech lion, on the right is Moravian eagle and on the left is Silesian eagle. On the lower left beam there is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "5 000 CZK" and the brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the letters "No" and "M." The text "CITY RESERVATION" and the text "CZECH REPUBLIC" are shown on the perimeter of the coin. The texts are separated by a dot.
(2) On the reverse side of the coin is a collage of the most important architectural monuments that are depicted on the floor plan of the City Heritage Reserve Cheb. The text "CITY CHEB" and "2021" are written on the perimeter of the coin. The author's initials Jiří Hanuš, DiS., which consists of the letter "H" in the frame, are located at the lower left edge of the Cheb City Heritage Reserve.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
This Decision shall enter into force on 25 May 2021.
