DECLARATION

on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Technical University in Brno
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Technical University in Brno, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,20 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of two-hundredth stamping in normal and special design, the tolerance allowed shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In the mass, the allowed tolerance is up to 0,26 g and in the silver content is up to 1%.
(1) There is a stylized large national emblem of the Czech Republic without a shield on the cheek of two hundred crowns. The name of the State is placed on the sides of the State sign in such a way that the word "CZECH 'is parallel to the left side and the word" REPUBLIC' with the lower side of the State sign. The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is placed in two rows under the word "REPUBLIC." The mark of the mint which struck the two hundred crown is placed at the edge of the two hundred crown to the left of the number "200." The state emblem and all inscriptions are enclosed by a network of fine lines symbolizing the architectural focus of the Technical University in Brno.
(2) On the reverse of two hundred crowns, the upper left of the upper part of the group of initial letters of the university name "VUT." The name of the school is located in such a way that the words "HIGH LEARNING 'are in two rows in a horizontal direction under the letters" VUT', the words "TECHNICAL IN BRNA 'also in two rows in a vertical direction at the right side of the two hundred crowns. At the lower edge of the two hundred crowns, the years are" 1899 · 1999. "The inscriptions are supplemented by lines creating background stylized geometric patterns reminiscent of the period of constructivism and functionalism characteristic of the Technical University in Brno. Through the inscriptions it is laid as a symbol of knowledge of a large triangle. The author of the two-hundred crown design is academic sculptor Jiří Harcuba. The initiale of his surname" H "is placed at the bottom of the two hundred crown under the years.
This decree shall become effective on 16 September 1999.
