GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 15 May 1996
amending and supplementing Decree No. 171 / 1992 of the Government of the Czech Republic Coll., laying down parameters for the permissible degree of pollution of water
The Government orders pursuant to § 23 (2) of Act No. 138 / 1973 Coll., on Water (Water Act):
Decree of the Government of the Czech Republic No. 171 / 1992 Coll., establishing the parameters for the permissible degree of water pollution, is amended and supplemented as follows:
1. In the first sentence of Article 6 (1), the words "waste or special waters' shall be replaced by the words" sewage and urban waste water '; the words "from a source of pollution up to 5000 equivalent inhabitants' shall be inserted after the words" from a source of pollution up to 5000 equivalent inhabitants' and the words "submitted no later than 12 months after the date of entry into force of this Regulation 'shall be deleted.
2. The following sentence is added at the end of Paragraph 6 (1): "The time period fixed by the water authority may not be longer for sources of pollution above 2000 equivalent inhabitants than until 31 December 2005."
3. In the Annex to the Decree of the Government of the Czech Republic No. 171 / 1992 Coll. the indicators for the size of the source of pollution up to 50 EO (up to 3 kg of BSK5) and up to 500 EO (up to 30 kg of BSK5) are deleted and in the first column of the table the definition of the source of pollution "up to 5000 EO (up to 300 kg of BSK5) 'is replaced by the definition" from 500 to 5000 EO (up to 30 kg of BSK5)'.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1996.
