THE LAW
of 24 September 1964
excluding the statute of limitations on the prosecution of the most serious crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed for or in the service of the occupants
National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic,
based on the applicable standards of international law on the prosecution and punishment of war criminals and the fair demand of the Czechoslovak people that none of the war criminals and their helpers can ever escape responsibility for the most serious crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in connection with the Second World War,
the law has been passed:
For crimes against peace, war crimes, crimes against humanity and other crimes committed between 21 May 1938 and 31 December 1946 (at the time of increased threat to the Republic) by war criminals or their helpers in favour or in the service of the occupants,
which are offences under Act No. 140 Coll. of 29 November 1961 and were also offences under the laws in force at the time of their commit and subsequent acts,
if they are to be barred from prosecution on or after 9 May 1965,
neither the prosecution nor the execution of the sentence shall be barred.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
