DECLARATION
of 20 June 2013
on the issue of a gold coin for CZK 10,000 to the 1150th anniversary of the arrival of the prisoners of Constantine and Methodius
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 3 July 2013, a commemorative gold coin is issued for CZK 10 000 for the 1150th anniversary of the arrival of Constantine and Methodius ("coins").
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 31,107 g, 34 mm diameter and 2.5 mm thickness. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance up to 0,062 g is allowed and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth or smooth with a mould.
§ 2
(1) On the front of the coin is a picture of Prince Rastislav coming from the Byzantine icon, which is located in the frame in which the individual letters of the headform are written. Above the portrait of the prince is a composition of heraldic animals from a large state character placed in the shields - in the middle is a Czech lion, right from it a Silesian eagle and left from it a Moravian eagle. At the left, bottom and right edges of the coin, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "10 000 CZK." Both texts are separated by a dot. The brand of the Czech Mint, which consists of the composition of the letters "No" and "M", is above the letter "B" from the word "Republic."
(2) On the reverse side of the coin there is a representation of Constantine and Methodius in the style of Byzantine icon, which is located in the frame in which the individual letters of the headform are written. To the right and to the left of the picture of the divisions are the years relating to the anniversary of "863" and "2013" bounded by lines. There is a copy of "CONSTANTINA AND METHODOLOGY INVESTMENT" along the perimeter of the coin. Above the second letter "A" in the word "CONSTANTINA" are the initials of the author of the graphic design of the coin of the academic painter Vladimir Pavlici, which are composed of the letters "VP" in the frame.
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 3 July 2013.
