of 17 May 2010
on the issue of commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 150th anniversary of the birth of Alfonse Mucha
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 23 June 2010, the 150th anniversary of the birth of the important Art Nouveau painter Alfonse Muchy is issued a commemorative silver two hundred crown (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crown").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *."
§ 2
(1) On the face of two hundred crowns is a transcript of the decorative Lady Alfonse Mucha "Music" from the cycle "Art." At the left edge of the two hundred crown, the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in two rows, which is bounded by dots on the edges of the word "CZECH". The denomination of the coin with the acronym of the money unit "200 CZK" is at the bottom edge of the two hundred koruna. The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is at the right edge of the two hundred crown.
(2) On the back of two hundred crowns is a portrait of Alfonso Mucha in the background of Art Nouveau decoration. At the right edge of the two-hundred crown, the two rows of the year are "1860-2010" and the inscription "ALFONS MUCHA." On the left of the bottom edge of the portrait are the initials of the author of the two hundred crown, academic sculptor Ivan Řehák, which are composed of the associated letters "IRO."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decree shall take effect on 23 June 2010.
