DECLARATION
Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports
of 10 July 1998
amending Decree of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic No. 431 / 1992 Coll., on the organisation and financing of competitions and shows of pupils of pre-school institutions, schools and school establishments
In agreement with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides for Act No. 564 / 1990 Coll., on State Administration and Self-Government in Education, as amended by Act No. 139 / 1995 Coll.:
Decree No. 431 / 1992 Coll., on the organisation and financing of competitions and shows of pupils of preschool, school and school establishments, is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 3 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (hereinafter referred to as" the Ministry ") declares national competitions, competitions with international participation and international competitions."
2. In Article 3 (8), the words "the division of competition by financial security by their organisers and 'shall be inserted after the words" including'.
3. in Article 5, the following paragraph 2 is inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) The competitions are divided into two categories according to financial security. In the first category, the organizer pays all expenses, in the second category, the organizer pays all expenses, except for catering and accommodation costs. '
Paragraphs 2 to 7 shall be renumbered paragraphs 3 to 8.
4. Paragraph 5 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) In competitions, remuneration in kind shall be granted, the price of which shall not exceed:
(a) in the district round
300 CZK for the winner - individuals, or
600 CZK for winning team
for competitions classified in the first category;
200 CZK for the winner - individuals, or
400 CZK for winning team
for second category competitions,
(b) in the regional round
450 CZK for the winner - individual, or
750 CZK for winning team
for competitions classified in the first category;
300 CZK for the winner - individuals, or
500 CZK for winning team
for second category competitions,
(c) in the central round
700 CZK for the winner - individuals, or
1,200 CZK for winning team
for competitions classified in the first category;
400 CZK for the winner - individual, or
800 CZK for winning team
for competitions classified in the second category. ';
5. in Article 5 (6), point (c) shall be deleted;
6. in Article 5 (8), footnote 1 shall read:
"1) Decree No. 48 / 1993 Coll., on school meals, as amended by Act No. 134 / 1993 Coll. and Decree No. 276 / 1993 Coll., No. 20 / 1995 Coll. and No. 313 / 1997 Coll."
7. In the first sentence of Paragraph 6 (1), a comma is inserted after the word "organiser" and the words "with the exception of student catering and accommodation expenses for competitions classified in the second category."
8. in Section 7, footnote 3 reads:
"3) Act No. 119 / 1992 Coll., on Travel Refunds, as amended."
This decree shall take effect on 1 September 1998.
