THE LAW
of 8 September 1994
increasing the state compensatory allowance for dependent children and certain other social benefits
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 100 / 1988 Coll., on Social Security, as amended by Act No. 110 / 1990 Coll., Act No. 180 / 1990 Coll., Act No. 1 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 46 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 306 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 482 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 578 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 160 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 266 / 1993 Coll. and Act No. 307 / 1993 Coll. (full version No. 140 / 1994 Coll.) shall be amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 71 (5), the amount "500 CZK 'is replaced by" 600 CZK' and the amount "700 CZK 'is replaced by" 800 CZK'.
2. In Paragraph 145p (1), "CZK 680 'is replaced by" CZK 750' and "CZK 910 'is replaced by" CZK 1000'.
3. In Paragraph 145s (2), the amount "CZK 600 'is replaced by" CZK 660'.
Legislative measure of the Bureau of the Federal Assembly of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic No. 206 / 1990 Coll., on the State Compensation Contribution, as amended by Act No. 245 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 578 / 1991 Coll., Act No. 10 / 1993 Coll. and Act No. 37 / 1993 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. Paragraph 2 (1) (c) shall be deleted.
2. in § 2a (1) and (2), in § 5 (2) and in § 8 (3), the words "and (c) shall be deleted."

Amount of the pension beneficiary's contribution
The amount of the allowance due to the beneficiary of the pension is CZK 220 per month. "
4. The following Section 3a is inserted after Section 3:
Amount of the dependent child's contribution
The amount of the allowance payable to a person who fulfils the condition of a child's insecurity for entitlement to child support or education allowance shall be monthly:
(a) CZK 320, if its own income, together with the income of persons jointly assessed under the Life Minimum Act (8), is not more than 1.5 times the minimum of life, or if the allowance is paid with an education allowance for pensions;
(b) 220 CZK in other cases. "
5. Paragraph 4 (3) shall be deleted.
6. In Article 5 (3), the words "220 CZK per month 'are replaced by the words" higher'.
Provisions common and transitional
(1) The provision and payment allowance for the use of the flat are for the first time in October 1994. both doses are increased without application.
(2) The death grants under this law belong to the person entitled to the funeral service of the deceased after 30 September 1994.
(3) The State compensatory allowance belongs to a person who fulfils the condition of insecurity for entitlement to child or educational allowances for the first time in October under this law.
(4) The recipient of the parental contribution to which the parental contribution belongs for September 1994 shall be paid a national compensatory allowance of CZK 140 in October 1994 if he was in possession of the national compensatory allowance for September 1994; the national compensatory allowance shall be paid by the payer responsible for the payment of the parental allowance in October 1994, without application.
This Law shall take effect on 1 October 1994.
