amending Constitutional Act No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation
The Federal Assembly of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic decided on this constitutional law:
Constitutional Act No. 143 / 1968 Coll., on the Czechoslovak Federation, is amended as follows:
The President of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic shall take the following oath before the Federal Assembly:
"I pledge my honour and conscience to the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic. I will keep the welfare of the nations and the nationalities living in it, I will do my duty according to the will of the people and in the interests of the people and keep the constitution and other laws."
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
