DECLARATION

Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade

of 11 November 1988

amending and supplementing Decree No 9 / 1988 Coll., on the exemption of personal computers, microcomputers and colour televisions from import duties

The Federal Ministry of Foreign Trade, pursuant to § 44 (2) of Act No. 44 / 1974 Coll., provides for the Customs Act, as amended by Act No. 117 / 1983 Coll.:

Čl. I

Decree No. 9 / 1988 Coll., on the exemption of personal computers, microcomputers and colour television receivers from import duties, is amended as follows:

1. The title of the Order is "on customs concessions for imports of certain non-commercial goods'.

2. In Section 1, the words "up to 512 KB operating memory 'are deleted.

3. The following Section 2a is inserted after Section 2:

„§ 2a

The rate of duty applicable to goods falling within the tariff headings of non-commercial goods (Annex to Decree No 10 / 1988 Coll.), headings 4 (a) to 4 (c) - motor vehicles, headings 11 (a) and 11 (b) - video recorders and video players, heading 12 - video cameras for colour recording, headings 14 (a) to 14 (e) of sound and reproduction equipment shall be reduced by 50% '.

„§ 3

The duty relief provided for in this Order shall be granted only on goods imported in a reasonable quantity under the rules on non-commercial imports.

5. Paragraph 4 is deleted.

This Decree shall take effect on 15 November 1988.
