THE LAW
of 18 July 2018
on the granting of a State guarantee from the Czech Republic to secure a loan from the Czech National Bank for the International Monetary Fund
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
(1) The Czech Republic provides a State guarantee for securing the loan provided by the Czech National Bank from its foreign reserve assets to the International Monetary Fund in order to strengthen its resources.
(2) The State guarantee referred to in paragraph 1 shall be granted on the principal of a loan of EUR 1 500 000 000 and interest linked to the granting of the loan under the loan agreement between the Czech National Bank and the International Monetary Fund of 13 October 2017, provided that the loan is not repaid within the prescribed period.
(3) The remuneration for granting the State guarantee will not be required.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
