GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 25 June 1997
laying down the graphic form of the Czech conformity mark, its design and location on the product
The Government orders pursuant to Section 22 of Act No. 22 / 1997 Coll., on Technical Requirements for Products and on the Amendment and Addition of Certain Laws ("the Act ') to implement Sections 12 (3) and 13 (3) of the Act:
The Czech mark of conformity shall be in the graphic form, the model of which is given in Annex 1. The mark shall be placed directly on the product or on its packaging or in accompanying and other documentation.
(1) Where legislation (1) provides for an obligation to mark a product with a Czech conformity mark based on a conformity assessment carried out by an authorized person, the Czech conformity mark with the attached identification number of an authorized person (2) shall be placed directly on the product and its execution shall be visible, legible and indelible.
(2) The model of the Czech mark of conformity with the attached authorised person identification number is set out in Annex 2.
(1) If the Czech conformity mark is increased or reduced, the relative proportions between its individual elements shall be respected. The size of the authorized person's identification number increases or decreases, if it is attached to the Czech conformity mark.
(2) The height of the Czech conformity mark shall not be less than 10 mm unless otherwise provided for in another government regulation issued for the implementation of the law.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 September 1997.
