of 23 April 2008
amending Act No. 155 / 1995 Coll., on Pension Insurance, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:

1. in Articles 67 (3), 67 (5) (b) and 67 (10), "10" is replaced by "5."
2. In the second sentence of Paragraph 107 (3), the words "the same number of percent as they were 'are replaced by the words" the way they were'.
1. In 2008, pensions will increase outside the regular deadline from the payment of the pension due in August 2008.
2. In order to increase the pensions referred to in point 1, the period for determining the growth of the aggregate consumer price index for households shall be determined by establishing that the first month of that period is August 2007 and the last month of that period is January 2008. The increase in pensions referred to in point 1 shall be determined in such a way that, for the average old-age pension, the amount corresponding to at least 100% of the price increase recorded in the period referred to in the first sentence.
3. Paragraph 67 (3) second sentence, § 67 (5) and § 67 (10) part of the sentence after the semicolon of Act 155 / 1995 Coll., on Pension Insurance, as effective from the date of entry into force of this Act, shall not apply to the increase of pensions referred to in point 1.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
