amending Constitutional Act No. 347 / 1997 Coll., on the creation of higher territorial units and amending the Constitutional Law of the Czech National Council No. 1 / 1993 Coll., Constitution of the Czech Republic
Parliament has decided on the following constitutional law of the Czech Republic:
Constitutional Act No. 347 / 1997 Coll., on the creation of higher territorial self-governing units and amending the constitutional law of the Czech National Council No. 1 / 1993 Coll., the Constitution of the Czech Republic is amended as follows:
1. in Article 1 (3), the word "Budejovice 'is replaced by the word" South Bohemian';
2. in Article 1, point 10, the words "the region of Jihlava 'are replaced by the words" Vysočina';
3. in Article 1, point 11, the word "Brno 'is replaced by" South Moravian';
4. In Article 1 (13), the word "Ostrava 'is replaced by" Moravian-Silesian'.
Where the term "Budejovický kraj 'is given in the existing legislation, it means" Jihočeský kraj', the term "Jišlíský kraj ', the term" Vysočina', the term "Brno Region ', the term" Jihomoravský kraj', and the term "Ostravský kraj ', the term" Moravskoslezský kraj'.
This constitutional law shall take effect on the day of its publication.
