On 24 June 1994, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Appendix 1 to the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic on the joint use of specified information and archive funds arising from the activities of the ministries of the Interior in the field of internal order and security of 29 October 1992 was signed in Red nad Vltavou.
Appendix 1 entered into force on 24 June 1994 pursuant to Article 3 thereof.
Czech version Appendix 1 shall be announced simultaneously.
Appendix 1
to the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic on the joint use of designated information and archive funds arising from the work of the ministries of the Interior in the field of internal order and security of 29 October 1992
The Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic agreed on the conclusion of Appendix 1 to the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic on the joint use of specified information and archive funds resulting from the activities of the ministries of the Interior in the field of internal order and security of 29 October 1992.1)
The Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic on the joint use of specified information and archive funds arising from the work of the ministries of the Interior in the field of internal order and security of 29 October 1992 is amended as follows:
(1) Article 3 (1) (l) shall read as follows:
"(l) the registration of applications and file material for certificates issued by the Federal Ministry of Interior by 31 December 1992 under special legislation.2) '.
2. Article 3 shall be added by paragraphs 6 and 7 as follows:
"(6) Under the conditions laid down in the Implementing Protocol, the Contracting Party shall divide between itself the depositary of personnel files and archived personal records.
(7) By the time of the division of the depositary of personnel files and archived personal records of living persons, funds divided for the purposes of special laws (2) shall be used by both Contracting Parties as follows:
a) the personnel files and personal registration cards taken over will be managed and operated by the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic,
b) Unhanded personnel files and personal registration cards will be managed and operated by the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic for the benefit of the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic. "
This Appendix becomes an integral part of the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic on the joint use of designated information and archive funds arising from the activities of the ministries of the Interior in the field of internal order and security of 29 October 1992.
This Appendix shall take effect on the date of signature.
Dane v Red nad Vltavou on 24 June 1994 in two original copies, each in the Czech and Slovak languages, the two texts being equally authentic.

1) The Agreement was published in the Collection of Laws of the Czech Republic in the amount 40 / 1993 Coll. under the number 156 and in the Collection of Laws of the Slovak Republic in the amount 54 / 1993 Z. z. under the number 201.
2) Act No. 451 / 1991 Coll., laying down certain other conditions for the performance of certain functions in the state bodies and organizations of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, as amended by the found Constitutional Court of the CSFR declared in the amount of 116 / 1992 Coll. Act of the Slovak National Council No. 74 / 1992 Coll., laying down certain other conditions for the performance of functions in the Czech Republic College and in the Department of Prison and Judicial Guard of the Slovak Republic.
