DECLARATION
Federal Ministry of Finance
of 21 November 1980
on the issue of the commemorative silver 500 crowns for the 125th anniversary of the death of Ms Štúr
The Federal Ministry of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and pursuant to § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the death of the Slovak National Buyer, a commemorative silver five hundred crowns are issued.
(2) The silver silver 500 crowns are rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 crown is 24 g. In the case of stamping, a tolerance up and down of 10 / 1000 and a silver content of 5 / 1000 is permitted. The diameter is 40 mm. On the edge is the text "125 ROCOV FROM DEATH. STRAW" performed by influence.
(1) On the face of the commemorative silver five hundred crowns is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and under it in four rows the name of the state "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" and the designation of the value "500 Kcs." On the left of the state emblem at its base level is a stylized lime leaf.
(2) On the back of the commemorative silver five hundred crowns is a portrait of Feud Štúr. Under the portrait is the name "VESTOR STUR" in three rows and the years "1856 1981." On the left of the portrait at its base level is a stylized lime leaf. The author of the coin is the national artist Ján Kulich whose name "KULICH" is below the years.
This Decree shall take effect on 19 January 1981.
