GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 14 April 2020
on the use of the Army of the Czech Republic for rescue work in connection with the demonstration of the occurrence of the coronavirus SARS CoV-2
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 (3) and § 15 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended:
§ 1
(1) A maximum of 900 soldiers in active duty shall be called for rescue work involving ancillary work in facilities operated by social services providers and in facilities operated by health services providers providing subsequent bed care or long-term bed care in connection with the demonstration of the presence of SARS CoV-2 coronavirus.
(2) A maximum of 150 active-duty soldiers are called for rescue operations involving testing activities in a state-guaranteed collection network to demonstrate the occurrence of SARS CoV-2 coronavirus.
(3) The employment referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 expires on 30 June 2022.
§ 2
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in § 1 (1) and (2).
§ 3
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
