The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that on 21 May 1996 the Protocol between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation was signed in Prague on the termination of the work envisaged by the Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on further cooperation in the development and production of turbocompressor, turboexhauster and cooling drying facilities in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic under the programme "Vltava 'and on the supply of this equipment to the Soviet Union on 2 August 1982 and on the settlement of relevant financial issues.
The Protocol has entered into force on the date of signature on the basis of Article 7 thereof. The agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics for further cooperation in ensuring the development and production of turbocompressor, turboexhauster and cooling drying equipment in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic under the programme "Vltava" and on the delivery of this equipment to the Soviet Union on 2 August 1982 and the commitments of the parties under this agreement.
