THE LAW
of 20 May 1993
on the issue of government bonds to cover the government budget deficit of the Czech Republic for 1992 and to cover the deficit of certain liabilities of the Czech Republic related to the demise of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
§ 1
(1) The Ministry of Finance will issue government bonds in the range of CZK 16802 million during 1993 and the following two years; of which is determined
(a) CZK 1,697 million to cover the Czech State Budget deficit for 1992,
(b) CZK 4,667 million to cover a proportion of the federal budget deficit for 1992, which has gone to the Czech Republic,
c) CZK 10 438 million to repay the loan to the Czechoslovak Commercial Bank.
(2) The bonds referred to in paragraph 1 shall be payable within 10 years of the date of application of this law.
§ 2
Section 4 of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 10 / 1993 Coll., on the State Budget of the Czech Republic for 1993, amending and supplementing certain laws of the Czech National Council and certain other regulations is hereby repealed.
§ 3
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
