THE LAW
of 29 May 2024
amending Act No. 245 / 2000 Coll., on public holidays, on other holidays, on significant days and on working time days, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 245 / 2000 Coll., on public holidays, on other holidays, on significant days and on working days, as amended by Act No. 101 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 129 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 162 / 2013 Coll., Act No. 359 / 2015 Coll., Act No. 226 / 2017 Coll., Act No. 48 / 2019 Coll., Act No. 49 / 2019 Coll., Act No. 356 / 2019 Coll. and Act No. 92 / 2022 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 4 (1), the words "1 May - The Day of Accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union" shall be inserted after the words "7 April - Education Day,"
2. In Section 4, at the end of the text of paragraph 2, the words "if it is not a national holiday or other holiday 'shall be added.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on 1 January 2025.
