GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 28 May 2003
on measures in relation to the Republic of Iraq
The Government mandates pursuant to § 1 (2) of Act No. 98 / 2000 Coll., on the implementation of international sanctions to maintain international peace and security:
The satisfaction of any claim for the benefit of the Republic of Iraq, for the benefit of the Government of the Republic of Iraq, for the benefit of the citizens of the Republic of Iraq, for the benefit of any other natural person normally resident in the territory of the Republic of Iraq, with the exception of the citizens of the Czech Republic, and for the benefit of legal persons or institutions established in the territory of the Republic of Iraq resulting from the non-performance of any contract, or in connection with or in connection with any other transaction where the reason for non-execution was a prohibition on the export of military material and the provision of services in this area to the Republic of Iraq, or a regime of restrictions on the import of goods and services from the Republic of Iraq, or the supply of goods and services to the Republic of Iraq, provided by a special legislate.1)
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
